“Ollie”/ Laura Limpens and Godfried

Walking Ollie is a happening. He draws lots of attention: cars pull over, bikers stop to see him and people come running from their houses. Ollie is a celebrity in our neighborhood! Our little brown bear makes us happy every day with his enthusiasm and his comic behavior. He was very well socialized, and puppy-trained. So he was already comfortable with the crate, knew the commands ‘sit’ and ‘down’, walked nicely along the leash and does not jump up. His favorite activity is running with other dogs in the park, or digging a large hole on the beach, and after that he sleeps nicely next to our feet.

Ollie uitlaten is een belevenis. Hij heeft veel bekijks: auto’s stoppen, fietsers stappen af en mensen komen uit hun huis gerend. Inmiddels is Ollie de beroemdheid van de buurt! Ons kleine bruine beertje maakt ons elke dag vrolijk met zijn niet aflatende enthousiasme en ondeugende grappen. Hij kwam hier goed gesocialiseerd, en was ‘puppy-trained’. Dus hij was al helemaal gewent aan de bench, kon de commando’s ‘zit’ en ‘af’, liep al goed mee aan de lijn en springt niet tegen je op. En het allerliefst ravot hij lekker met andere honden in het bos, of graaft hij een grote kuil op het strand, waarna hij thuis weer rustig bij onze voeten gaat liggen slapen.
